Welcome to Durham Markets.
Durham Markets Company has been operating markets in Durham City since 1851.
We own and operate Durham Market Hall, winner of Best Private Market in the UK, as well as operating a variety of other markets and events, both in Durham and in the North East. These include:
- Durham City Farmers Market in the Market Place, held every third Thursday of the month from 9am
- Durham's Saturday Outdoor Retail Market, in the Market Place every Saturday from 9am
- Durham City Christmas Festival, taking place on the first full weekend in December
Plus occasional Continental Markets, Evening Markets and Sunday and Bank Holiday Markets in the Market Place.

Those aged between 16 and 23 are invited to test out their entrepreneurial skills, becoming a trader for the day for just £10 per stall!

Nostalgia Weekend Market - Sunday 26th and Bank Holiday Monday 27th May 2013
We are holding a special Market coinciding with the Bank Holiday Nostalgia Weekend in the Market Place. Stalls cost £15 each. Priority will be given to new businesses and those who will be trading in Durham fo the first time.
