Welcome to the website of Durham Markets Company which has been operating markets in Durham City since 1851.
We own and operate Durham Indoor Market in Durham City as well as operating a variety of other markets and events both in Durham and in the North East. These include the City of Durham Farmers Market in the Market Place, held every third Thursday of the month from 9am, the Saturday Outdoor Retail Market held in the Market Place every Saturday from 9am, the Continental Market held in the Market Place twice a year, Durham Food Festival which takes place in October, and Durham Christmas Festival, which takes place on the first weekend in December.
